Hitter of the Week (Week 9):

Dan Williams (Pennsylvania) Edenton (Week 9)
Williams, a sophomore at Pennsylvania, started seven of his eight games played on the week for the Steamers and finished with a .462 average.  His 26 at bats for the week were beneficial for the team with 12 hits and seven runs, including three doubles and one home run.  For the week, he gained a total of 18 bases and eight RBIs with a .500 on-base percentage. Throughout the season so far, this 6-1, 195-pound Southampton, New Jersey native, has had 192 at bats with a .266 batting average.  As a result from of 51 hits, Williams has had 31 runs, including 10 doubles, two home runs, and 25 RBIs.  In addition to his strong swing, Williams has totaled 67 bases for the season so far, including 9-for-10 stolen bases.

Robert Jeroszko (College of Charleston) Gastonia (Week 9)
Jeroszko, a righty from College of Charleston, has a perfect 0.00 ERA for the week with the Grizzlies.  In his three appearances of the week, including two game starts, he had one complete game.  Pitching a total of 16.0 innings, Jeroszko finished the week with a 2-0 winning record, with 23 strikeouts. Furthermore, Jeroszko has maintained a 3.39 ERA in throughout the season, with 10 game starts of 14 totalappearances, and finishing with a 4-4 record.  He has allowed only 27 earned runs in 71.2 innings pitched.  Throughout the season has also thrown 92 strikeouts and has an average opponent batting average of .256.
